NTA has not confirmed an exact release live update for NIFTEE Result 2026 . Based on historical timelines, the final result typically follows approximately one month after the Situation Test, placing the expected window between the last week of May and the second week of June 2026. How to Download the NIFTEE 2026 Final Scorecard
Once NTA activates the result link, follow these steps:
Visit the official portal. Go to exams.nta.nic.in/niftee.
Click "NIFTEE Final Result 2026"The link will appear on the homepage after official declaration.
Enter your credentials- Application Number + Password or Date of Birth + Security Pin.
Download and save multiple copies. Save to cloud storage and a local drive. Given the 90-day retention window, do this immediately.
The final scorecard will include: Candidate Name, Roll Number, Programme, CAT Score, GAT Score, Situation Test / PI Marks, Final Combined Score, All-India Common Merit Rank (CMR), and Category Rank. Unlike Stage 1, which only showed pass/fail status, the final scorecard displays full component-wise marks.

NIFT Counselling 2026 (Process & Seat Allotment)
Candidates with a valid CMR participate in NIFT's online counselling at nift.admissions.nic.in. Based on last year's pattern, there will be four regular rounds plus one SPOT round. The process involves: online registration → choice filling (campus + programme in priority order) → seat allotment → document upload → fee payment of approximately ₹1,83,200.
During seat allotment, candidates choose to Freeze (accept final seat), Float (accept seat and stay in consideration for upgradation in future rounds), or Slide (B.Des only, allow upgradation within the same campus). Candidates who fail to pay the seat acceptance fee within the deadline lose their allotment. Fee refund on withdrawal before the deadline is full minus the registration fee; after the deadline, only the Security Deposit is refunded.
